Shell Lake Challenge Tournament: Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026

• The Shell Lake Wrestling Challenge Tournament will be held at Shell Lake High School and is a varsity and varsity reserve tournament.

• TEAMS: Ashland, Bloomer/Colfax, Chequamegon, Clear Lake, Eau Claire Memorial, Elk Mound, Ladysmith, Luck/Frederic/Grantsburg/Siren, McDonell Central, Regis/Altoona (Junior Varisty only), Rice Lake, Shell Lake, Spooner/Webster, Spring Valley/Elmwood, Superior, Thorp/Owen-Withee, Unity, Washburn.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School at 6:00 a.m.

• Official Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 8:00 a.m. with a +2 lb allowance.

• Wrestling Begins: Wrestling will begin at 9:30 a.m.

• USA BRACKETING: You should be using the 2026 Shell Lake Elliott Legacy Tournament.

• Admission: Tickets will be $5 per person.

• Concessions: Concession stand will be open for the duration of the event.

Clear Lake / Durand Duals @ Clear Lake High School - Thursday, January 22, 2026

• Varsity and JV

  • JV matches will be based on who weighs in for each team and will be determined by weight and experience whenever possible

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School at 4:00 p.m.

• Weigh-Ins: 5:00 pm with a +2 lb allowance.

• Schedule:

This is a triangular wrestling meet.

6:00 p.m. - Clear Lake vs. Durand

7:00 p.m. - Durand vs. Spring Valley-Elmwood

8:00 p.m. - Clear Lake vs. Spring Valley-Elmwood

The JV/Girls will wrestler between the boys duals.

• Admission: Spectators pay at the door. Concessions: Available on site.

Chippewa Falls Invite INfo: Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026

• The Chippewa Falls Wrestling Invite will be held at Chippewa Falls High School and is a varsity (and a few varsity reserve) tournament.

• TEAMS: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, Chippewa Falls, EC Regis, Edgar, Medford, New Lisbon, New Richmond, Spring Valley, Tomah

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School to Chippewa Falls at 7:15 a.m.

• Official Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 8:30 a.m. with a +2 lb allowance.

• Wrestling Begins: Wrestling will begin at 10:00 a.m.

• USA BRACKETING: You should be using the “Chippewa Falls Wrestling Invite” tournament.

• Admission: Doors will open at 9:00 AM for spectators. Tickets will be $5 per person.

• Concessions: Concession stand will be open for the duration of the event. NO CARRY INS.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School to Durand High School at 4:05 pm. We will pick up Elmwood kids on the ways so we should be in Elmwood at approximately 4:15 pm. 

• Official Weigh-Ins: HS wrestlers at 5:00 pm with a +2 lb allowance.

• Schedule:
  This is a double dual meet:
  6:00 p.m. - Spring Valley/Elmwood vs. Mondovi and Chetek/Weyerhaeuser vs. Durand
  7:00 p.m. - JV/Girls matches
  8:00 p.m. - Chetek/Weyerhaeuser vs. Spring Valley/Elmwood and Mondovi vs. Durand

• This tri-dual, originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

• Varsity and JV wrestlers.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School to Ellsworth High School at 4:25 p.m.

• Official Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 5:00 pm with a +2 lb allowance.

• Schedule:
  6pm- Spring Valley vs Unity
  2nd dual - Unity vs Ellsworth
  3rd dual - Spring Valley vs Ellsworth

Somerset/North Branch Duals @ Somerset Middle School - Thursday, January 8, 2026

• Varsity, JV, and Middle School wrestlers.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School to Somerset Middle School at 3:40 p.m.

• Official Weigh-Ins: No MS weigh-ins. HS 5:30 pm weigh-in all HS wrestlers at 5:30 pm with a +2 lb allowance.

• Schedule:
  Please note we are at the Somerset Middle School.

There will be 2 mats.
5:00 start MS Wrestling Somerset and Spring Valley no weigh-ins, just coach matched pairings.
5:30 Weigh in all HS wrestlers
6:30 NB vs SVE HS
7:30 SOM vs SVE HS
8:30 SOM vs NB HS

New Richmond Invite INfo: Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026

• The 58th ANNUAL NEW RICHMOND INVITATIONAL WRESTLING MEET will be held at New Richmond High School and is a varsity and varsity reserve tournament.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School to New Richmond at 6:45 a.m.

• Official Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 8:00 a.m. with a +2 lb allowance.

• Wrestling Begins: Wrestling will begin at 9:30 a.m.

• Admission: Admissions: All tickets $8.00 (can pay cash, card, or preorder link on GoFan- Purchase Link Here).

• Concessions: Concessions available on site.

Northern Badger INfo: Monday, Dec. 29 & Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025

• The 40th Annual Northern Badger Wrestling Classic will be held at River Falls High School and is a varsity-only tournament.

• Bus Departure: The bus will leave Spring Valley High School for River Falls at 6:45 a.m. on Monday, December 29, and at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30.

• Official Weigh-Ins: Weigh-ins will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Monday with a +2 lb allowance, and at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday with a +3 lb allowance.

• Wrestling Begins: Wrestling will begin at 9:00 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday.

• Parking Information: Spectator parking will fill up quickly for this event. Please communicate to your fans that they must park only in designated parking areas. Local police will be monitoring and ticketing vehicles parked in fire lanes, on grass, or otherwise illegally. Do not park at the hockey arena across the street from the high school. Residential parking is available, but all local parking regulations must be followed (see the parking map below).

• Admission: We would like to encourage fans to purchase their tickets via GO FAN in order to avoid the long lines. We will sell tickets at the door. Fans can follow this link TICKETS to be taken to the online ticket link. Concessions will be available along with larger dining selections offered through the kitchen. Northern Badger apparel will be available for purchase.

Somerset Tournament INfo: Friday, Dec. 19, 2025

• This tournament includes varsity, varsity reserve, JV, and girls divisions. All eligible team members will compete.

• Bus Departure: The Elmwood wrestlers will leave Elmwood to Spring Valley at 12:40 pm. Entire team will leave then from Spring Valley High School at 1:20 pm.

• Official Weigh-Ins: 2:30 PM

• Wrestling Begins: JV starts at 3:30 pm; Varsity & Girls start at 4:15 pm

• Admission: Ticket prices: $7 for adults, $5 for students. Doors open at 3:00 pm, Somerset school is still in session until 3:20 pm. Parking lots will not have much room until after 3:20 pm.

Youth Tournament - High School Parents - Please Sign up

Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025

Our annual youth tournament is our largest fundraiser of the year that supports our High School, Middle School and youth programs, and we rely heavily on our high school parents to make it a success. Please take a moment to review the volunteer slots and sign up. Our greatest need is full-day coverage in concessions, and your support is essential.

All high school wrestlers are required to help throughout the tournament—refereeing, towel tapping, assisting at tables, working concessions, and filling in wherever needed. Specific assignments will be given the morning of the event.

• Early Check-In: Coaches will be at the Spring Valley high school starting at 6:30 AM for weight checks.
